# Sato Code

> Sato Code is an outdoor escape room company operating in 40+ cities across Italy and Switzerland. Teams of 2–4 players hunt for real objects and clues hidden in city streets, guided from location to location by a smartphone app. No booking required, no guide, open 24/7. Trails take 1–2 hours and are available in English, German, and Italian.

## What is Sato Code

Sato Code creates story-driven outdoor escape room experiences set in real cities. Unlike traditional escape rooms, players are not confined to a single room — the entire city is the playing field. Hidden physical objects and clues are placed at real locations throughout the city. Players use the Sato Code smartphone app (available on iOS and Android) to unlock each stage, make team decisions, and get hints if stuck. Each player receives unique information on their phone, making teamwork essential.

- Price: €10–14 per person (Italy), CHF 12–28 per person (Switzerland)

- Children from age 10 can play with parents; from 14–16 independently
- Requires: smartphone (Android 7.0+ or iOS 11.0+), internet connection
